I accomplish this through teaching yoga and supporting the businesses within the event industry through Event Vines’ community directory and marketing.
Why did I create Event Vines? I want to help create meaningful experiences and connections in the world. The event industry is made up of an assortment of unique venues and vendors that are sometimes overlooked because they do not have a strong presence with search engines (like Google/Bing) online. Event Vines’ online directory is a search engine specifically built for finding the event professionals and spaces in each location (starting with Austin, Texas) needed for planning corporate and private events. “Yelp for event planning”.
Why now? The event industry needs to modernize in order to flourish in today’s world. As gloabization continues, so does tourism (destination events) and the need for an organizational tool to sort the contacts and their unique details. I am an active member of Austin’s event industry and I intend to listen to the needs, feedback and technology changes necessary to help our community thrive and Event Vines evolve.
