The Blanton welcomes you to host a wide range of events in our unique and exclusive rental spaces. Whether you are planning an elegant wedding reception or a contemporary film screening, the Blanton Museum of Art offers a one-of-a-kind setting for your event.
The Rapoport Atrium in the Michener Gallery Building features soaring 50 foot ceilings with skylights and a gorgeous blue art installation by the contemporary artist Teresita Fernandez entitled Stacked Waters. The space can accommodate up to 150 guests seated at tables or more for a standing reception.
In the modern and light filled Edgar A. Smith building across the plaza from the museum we have additional spaces available, including an auditorium featuring stadium seating for 299. The Long Grand Foyer and Mezzanine spaces work well for receptions, and the Capitol Room is a multipurpose 1240 square foot space with natural light, built in screen and projector and large white board. The Meadows Classroom is an intimate space perfect for smaller meetings.
The Hite Board Room in the museum building features a formal board room configuration seating up to 20 in rolling leather chairs. This space is only available during regular museum hours.
