In 2007 Dennis Hardman, son of Soap and Opaline, and wife Teresa purchased the property and begun the renovation to create a beautiful special event venue and lodge. In 2009 with the renovations complete, Soap’s Place began accepting reservations for weddings, class reunions, lodging, and other special events.
