My name is Marisa. I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Austin but available to travel throughout Texas.

I first picked up a camera 10 years ago and I haven’t been able to put them down since. I’ve always loved documenting my own life through pictures so I want to help others do the same. My goal is to produce memorable and high quality photos that my clients will love.

My style is a mix between photojournalism and fine art  photography. I received a photojournalism degree from the University of Texas in 2013 and I also studied fine art photography at St. Edwards University for a year prior to attending UT.

Although I primarily shoot weddings and portraits now, I am open to photographing all types of sessions. I don’t want to ever limit myself creatively and I find that I am happy taking photos no matter what the subject is. To me photography is about beautiful light, emotions and telling a story.

As cheesy as it sounds, weddings are my favorite story to tell because I’m a sucker for love. I live for the beautiful moments shared between two people in love. Let’s get together and capture something that will make you smile!
